Friendly, fully-trained assistance in all aspects of daily living

Enterprise Homecare support workers help people to live independently in their own homes by assisting them with personal care, meal preparation, light domestic work, collecting shopping, paying bills and accompanying them out of their homes.

Enterprise Homecare is a supplier of homecare services commissioned by the Social Services departments of Manchester and Salford local authorities.

We also provide home care services to privately paying clients, and to clients funded for continuing healthcare needs by the local Primary Care Trusts.

Enterprise Homecare provides care services to the following users:

You're in good hands

Enterprise Homecare support workers are not only experienced, they are highly-skilled and thoroughly vetted. They are also reliable, personable and all of our support workers either hold an NVQ 2 Certificate in Direct Care or will be working towards it in line with the most recent General Social Care Council and skills for Care guidelines.

Our NVQ 3 certified field supervisors monitor the standard of care delivered by each support worker and regularly visit every service-user to ensure customer satisfaction.

Funding your care

Subject to a financial assessment you may receive the majority of the funding from your local Social Services department, (you may be required to make a small contribution), or receive Direct Payments, independent budgets, or Independent Living Funds (ILF). Enterprise Homecare also accommodates service-users of private means. It should be noted that our services are exempt from VAT.

We have the time for every need

People have different needs, which is why we offer a flexible service to suit your exact requirements.

30 minutes
Usually a breakfast, lunchtime and/or early evening visit for food preparation including medication and/or toileting. Also bed calls at night to assist with getting ready for, and into, bed.

45 minutes
Usually a morning call for personal care activities, medication, food preparation, washing up and tidying.

60 minutes
Service-users with more complex needs can have visits tailored to their exact requirements, from extended morning attendance to sleep-in and waking-night support.

90 minutes 24 hours
For service users with greater needs, these visits can be at either end of the day, or both and will include personal care and some practical duties. In some cases, more than one support worker will be allocated depending on the level of care provision.

We also provide support for shopping, cleaning, social engagements and respite, of not less than one hour, for family carers.

Enterprise Homecare subscribes to the policy that service-users care plans should be reflective of a "needs-based assessment". As your needs change, the type and level of Enterprise support services will be adapted to meet them.
