FAQs

Q   Are care services available where we live?

A   Enterprise Homecare services are available throughout Manchester, Salford and the surrounding metropolitan boroughs.

Q   How much does the service cost?

A   The cost of Enterprise Homecare is based on highly competitive hourly rates for the provision of services delivered by different grades of support workers and is dependent on which times and on which days they are deployed.

Q   Will I be provided with an estimate?

A   All service-users are provided with a professionally prepared care plan. Estimates of costs will be supplied with private care plans and those funded via direct payments and ILFs.

Q   Are your Support Workers officially vetted?

A   Most definitely! Enterprise support workers have to undergo a rigorous vetting process, which includes CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) and POVA (Protection of Vulnerable Adults) checks. We also undertake thorough background checks to confirm employment histories contain character references.

Q   Who regulates Enterprise Homecare?

A   Enterprise Homecare is regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission), which inspects and reports on the providers of care services and councils to improve social care and stamp out bad practice. In addition local government social services departments frequently examine our management organisation and delivery of services to ensure we comply with regulations and meet their required standards.
